After the US Supreme Court ruled that some of President Trump's global tariffs were invalid, EU lawmakers plan to hold an emergency meeting next Monday to reassess the US European trade agreement. The European Parliament's Trade Committee was originally scheduled to vote on Tuesday to push for the approval of the agreement, after the process was frozen due to Trump's threat to annex Greenland. The Chairman of the Trade Commission, Bernd Lang, stated that the ruling and its impact on the approval of the agreement need to be carefully evaluated, and emphasized that the US President also needs to comply with the law.
