In 2026, MA faces its most consequential election in modern history. I am an optimist by nature - someone who believes in “No Fear and Never Give Up” but optimism requires a foundation of reality. Today, that reality is grim: we are the second most expensive state in the nation and companies are leaving in droves. While hundreds of thousands of working families leave MA for good, we’ve taken in tens of thousands of illegal migrants, resulting in 1.1 million people living off food stamps. In sum, the stakes for the 2026 cycle couldn't be higher. Simply put, one-party rule has devastated our state. Every statewide office in MA is held by the same party - Democrats. All nine members of the House of Representatives - Democrats. Both U.S. Senators - Democrats. As an unknown first time candidate, with limited resources, I received nearly 41% of the vote, receiving 1.35 million votes. Notably, MA was the 2nd best state President Trump improved over 2020 election results. Yet, we have no voice in MA. This year isn't just another election - it’s a battle for the soul of our state. If Republicans don't make a stand now, we risk losing the Commonwealth for good. Even worse? The Democrats in MA have become so arrogant, the Leadership is now ignoring the 72% of voters who demanded an audit of the people’s books. If we don’t win now, the path may disappear forever. After I witnessed over 85% of the MA GOP State committee members unite and endorse me, including folks who did not support or vote for me in 2024, it was quite inspiring (and humbling). Change doesn’t begin by winning an election. It begins when you believe you can win an election. By coming together and uniting I truly believe we can win. That’s why I chose to pay off the MA GOP debt - to help the party win. It’s hard to focus on winning races when you’re worried about keeping the lights on. Recently, @MikeMinogueABMD made a contribution to the MA GOP as well. There’s been discussion and press stories regarding these contributions. Below is the @massgop’s press release referencing both mine and Mike Minogue’s donations. At some point, whether as early as late April, during the Convention, or as late as September 1, on Primary night, we will have a Republican Nominee for Governor. It is imperative that we unite behind that person with ALL our support and win. The MOTIVATION: Think of 4 more years of Maura Healey and the most non-transparent state government in America. #MAPoli #MAGOP #MAGov #MASen #WeCanWin(John E Deaton)
