[USDC Weekly Transaction Volume on Polygon Reaches 28 Million, Surpassing Solana to Become the Most Active USDC Chain]
Odaily Planet Daily News: Data analyst Peter posted on the X platform stating that last week, the stablecoin data on the Polygon network showed remarkable performance. Polygon's weekly USDC transaction volume reached 28 million, setting a new weekly record and surpassing Solana's 22 million transactions, making it the most active USDC chain in the ecosystem. USDC transfer count reached 103 million, setting a weekly record and accounting for 46% of the market share. Across all USD stablecoins, Polygon recorded 32.6 million transactions, a 67% increase, trailing Solana by only 600,000 transactions. Polygon processed 120 million USD stablecoin transfers, surpassing BNB for the first time. In terms of payment transfers, January saw nearly 2 million transfers. Additionally, Polygon's native x402 weekly transfer volume reached $1.2 million, with 358,000 transactions, ranking first across all chains.
Other developments: Polygon joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance; Polygon will provide USDC tax refund services at airports in Milan, Rome, and Venice during the 2026 Winter Olympics; Polygon proposed PIP 82, planning to recover up to $1 million in base gas fees through PIP 65 to support proxy business activities.
