[Binance France CEO Targeted in Attempted Home Invasion, Suspects Arrested]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on February 13, RTL reported that the CEO of Binance France was targeted in an attempted home invasion on February 12. Three masked assailants, armed with weapons, broke into an apartment building in Val-de-Marne, France, around 7 a.m. that day, attempting to locate the residence of the Binance France executive. The assailants first forcibly entered another resident's home to obtain information about the target apartment, then searched the cryptocurrency executive's residence. Upon discovering that the homeowner was not present, they stole two mobile phones before fleeing the scene.
Later that same morning, at 9:15 a.m., the three suspects attacked another resident in Villecresnes, apparently mistaking them for another cryptocurrency entrepreneur. Through surveillance footage and mobile signal tracking, police ultimately arrested the three suspects at Lyon Perrache train station. They are currently in custody and under investigation.
