[Jensen Huang Dismisses AI-Driven Software Stock Sell-Off as 'The Most Illogical Thing in the World'] According to a report by Jinse Finance, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that this week's market sell-off of software stocks due to concerns over the disruptive impact of artificial intelligence is completely irrational. NVIDIA's hardware is at the core of building global AI data centers. Speaking at a Cisco event late Tuesday, Huang said that software products are tools, and AI uses these tools rather than reinventing them. He remarked, 'This is the most illogical thing in the world. Some people think tools are declining and will be replaced by AI. Are you going to use a screwdriver or invent a new screwdriver?' Software-related stocks fell for the second consecutive day amid concerns that tools released by Anthropic and other AI model developers could eventually automate a large amount of internal company work. NVIDIA's Jensen Huang noted that his own company has already widely adopted such tools, resulting in more time being freed up for employees to focus on what the company excels at: designing semiconductors and computer systems.
