Tim Draper: When buying BTC for the first time, the price was only $4 per coin, firmly believing that Bitcoin is not an investment but a tool to change the world
Odaily Planet Daily News: Tim Draper, founder of Draper Associates and a well-known investor, wrote on X platform that when he first bought Bitcoin, the price was only $4 per coin. However, at that time, the investment was not due to understanding the technology or foreseeing the future, but was attracted by the idea that digital currency could bring changes to people who could not use traditional banks. Afterwards, when the US Marshals auctioned 30000 bitcoins, they entered the auction again and bid for $632 per coin (at a market price of $618 at the time), winning all nine auction batches. Despite the price subsequently falling to $180, they still held on to Bitcoin because they firmly believed that it was not an investment but a tool to change the "rules of the game" in the world.
