[Bloomberg ETF Analyst: BlackRock's IBIT Ranked Tenth in Inflows Among All ETFs on the First Trading Day of U.S. Stocks]
BlockBeats News, January 5 — Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on social media that ETFs recorded $7.1 billion in inflows on January 2, the first trading day of U.S. stocks this year. If this pace continues, the total inflow for the year could reach $1.8 trillion (an exaggerated estimate). VOO (Vanguard's ETF tracking the S&P 500) once again ranked first as usual. BlackRock's SGOV also remained on the list, while its newly launched Bitcoin spot ETF, IBIT, ranked tenth with $287 million in inflows. Overall, the trend is very similar to last year. Although the current data is still early and may contain noise, market narratives often begin to take shape early in the new year.
