Odaily Planet Daily News – According to the latest report released by the Global Sovereign Wealth Fund Organization (SWF) platform, the total assets under management of global sovereign wealth funds will reach a record $15 trillion by 2025. At the same time, many sovereign wealth funds have increased their investments in the technology sector and have profited from booming markets. Overall, the total investment by sovereign wealth funds in artificial intelligence and digitalization will reach $66 billion by 2025. Sovereign wealth funds in the Middle East have shown the most outstanding performance in digitalization investments, with Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Investment Company investing $12.9 billion in artificial intelligence and digitalization, followed by the Kuwait Investment Authority with $6 billion and the Qatar Investment Authority with $4 billion. The Middle East remains a hub for sovereign wealth fund capital. The seven major Gulf region wealth funds achieved a total global investment of $126 billion, accounting for 43% of global investments by state-owned investors, marking a historic high. (Jin10)
