[Ministry of Commerce: Initiation of Expiry Review Investigation on Anti-Dumping Measures Applicable to Imported Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Rubber Originating from the United States, South Korea, and the European Union] Announcement No. 81 of 2025 by the Ministry of Commerce states that an expiry review investigation has been initiated on anti-dumping measures applicable to imported ethylene-propylene-diene rubber originating from the United States, South Korea, and the European Union. On December 18, 2020, the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 60 of 2020, deciding to impose anti-dumping duties on imported ethylene-propylene-diene rubber originating from the United States, South Korea, and the European Union starting from December 20, 2020. The duty rates were set at 214.9%–222.0% for U.S. companies, 12.5%–24.5% for South Korean companies, and 14.7%–31.7% for EU companies, with an implementation period of five years. On October 17, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce received an application for an expiry review of anti-dumping measures submitted by Jilin Petrochemical Company, a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation, and Shanghai Sinopec Mitsui Elastomers Co., Ltd., representing the domestic ethylene-propylene-diene rubber industry. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to initiate an expiry review investigation on anti-dumping measures applicable to imported ethylene-propylene-diene rubber originating from the United States, South Korea, and the European Union starting from December 20, 2025.
