Sorry for the late post yesterday, guys!! Investing is actually just two parts: Making the right choices + Holding long-term So why is it that most people know they should invest long-term, but always enter the market at the wrong time? Have you ever experienced moments like these: Going all-in when the market is hot, only to buy at the peak; panic selling during a market crash, and then watching it rebound right after you sell. Even though we’ve read countless investment books and heard Buffett’s famous quotes, in reality, we keep getting swayed by our emotions. The problem isn’t that we’re not smart, but that—we’ve never truly understood the essence of “making the right choices” and “holding long-term.” Investing isn’t just about picking assets or watching the market; it’s a journey of self-awareness and patience. It comes down to two steps: Step 1: Make the right choices; Step 2: Hold long-term. Investing is a marathon of self-cultivation: See the big picture, identify trends; Act within your circle of competence, and stay patient. These four steps are the key wisdom of investing. True investing isn’t about chasing quick profits, but about seeking certainty. And the greatest certainty isn’t in the market—it’s in yourself— When you have the ability to think independently, reason rationally, and delay gratification, You’ve already outpaced most people who are anxious, impulsive, and chasing trends. Make the right choices, then hold long-term— It’s one of the few ways to truly weather the cycles.
