Cathy Wood: Bitcoin volatility decreases, institutions accelerate entry, traditional 'four-year cycle' may be broken In an interview with FOX, ARK Invest CEO Cathy Wood stated that although Bitcoin has seen significant volatility recently, it has only dropped about 20% over the past three months, and its behavior is returning to the 'risk asset' trajectory. Wood emphasized that institutional funds investing in this new asset class will limit further price declines, and the market may have already hit a short-term bottom a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, the rise in gold reflects investors climbing a new 'wall of worry,' with geopolitical risks driving funds toward safe-haven assets. However, she cautioned that the innovation boom from the 1980s to the late 1990s was accompanied by a decline in gold, and a similar scenario could happen again. She added that as more funds flow into Bitcoin spot ETFs like ARKB, this structure will provide long-term benefits for both institutions and retail investors.
