[Circle Obtains Financial Services Permission in Abu Dhabi Global Market] According to the official blog, stablecoin issuer Circle announced that it has obtained a Financial Services Permission (FSP) issued by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market, allowing it to operate as a money services provider in the Abu Dhabi International Financial Centre (IFC). Additionally, Circle has appointed Dr. Saeeda Jaffar as the Managing Director for Circle Middle East and Africa. Jaffar will leave Visa to join Circle, where she previously served as Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for the Gulf Cooperation Council. She will lead Circle's regional strategy, deepen partnerships with financial institutions and enterprises, and drive the adoption of the company's digital dollar and on-chain payment solutions in the UAE and the broader Middle East and Africa markets.
