The recent rebound is definitely worth talking about. From 83K to 93K, I reminded everyone to buy in my tweets (don’t call me out for hindsight, go check my Twitter). Up 11%+ in 48 hours, and now a bunch of people on Twitter are shouting that the bull market is back! But has anyone thought about this: is this rebound driven by institutions buying in? If institutions are buying, then we can keep going hard—nothing to fear. But if it’s retail investors buying, then this rebound might just be a fake one. Think back to 2021, when BTC dropped from over 60K to 30K. During that time, the rebound even went up to 49K, and everyone thought it had bottomed out. What happened next? It crashed straight to 16K! Back then, institutions were selling, and people were still going heavy on buying. We all know who ended up looking foolish. Even though there might be more upward movement later, I don’t dare to bet on it. In the long run, the price is likely to gradually come down. But hey, no one in crypto can be right all the time—that’s the charm of it. The uncertainty is exactly why so many people are drawn to it.
