Come on @DeborahMeaden, don’t make me do this again. This Labour govt isn’t ‘reducing inequality’, it’s making people like you and I richer and everyone else poorer. Inflation, debt, frozen thresholds… the asset-owners like us win, the working people lose. Sure, maybe inequality between those on minimum wage and the middle class will be reduced through wage compression but no chance inequality between the rich and the poor will as this is all still inflationary. A party that’s good for the country would cut the cost of living, shrink the government, unleash growth and let people keep more of what they earn.
