[Bank of America Faces Higher Additional Capital Requirements as Systemic Importance is Upgraded]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, the Financial Stability Board (FSB) has upgraded the systemic importance of Bank of America, which will result in higher capital requirements. In the FSB's Global Systemically Important Banks (GSIB) list, the bank has been elevated to the third-highest tier. The additional capital buffer requirement for the company has been raised from 1.5% to 2%. Deutsche Bank has been downgraded by one tier, with its additional capital requirement reduced to 1%. Compared to the previous year, no other adjustments have been made.
