📞: There have been a rapid succession of talks on the peace plan for Ukraine and a number of positive steps have been taken. I just spoke to President @ZelenskyyUA about this on the phone. We see new Russian attacks every day. We spoke about the need for Europe to increase pressure on Russia and to ensure that Ukraine can continue to fight and maintain its energy supply. To make this happen, Ukraine, Europe and the US must continue to work in concert. My government remains unwavering in its commitment to supporting Ukraine financially, militarily and politically – simply because the fighting continues on every single day. And also because President Zelenskyy must be in the strongest possible position at the negotiating table. That is the only chance for us to come closer to a lasting peace and to put an end to years of war and destruction.(Dick Schoof)
