Kaia is finally starting the transition to a permissionless network.
The transition plan involves opening up PoS validator nodes to the public.
From foundation review-based → self-registration (but low-performance nodes will be eliminated).
PS: Since Kaia is a merger of the Klaytn and Finschia blockchains, the validator management contracts are still from Klaytn's genesis period, so they should be upgraded this time as well.
I checked, and many of Kaia's nodes are already fully staked, like those from Google Cloud, Binance, and the foundation.
If it's moving to permissionless, I wonder if they'll open up more capacity?
