Founded in 2021, Fordefi has approximately 40 employees and around 300 clients, with its previous valuation at $83 million. Following the acquisition, it will continue to operate independently, while Paxos plans to integrate its technology into its own system. This transaction marks Paxos' second acquisition within a year, following its February purchase of EU stablecoin issuer Membrane Finance to comply with MiCA regulations and further expand its footprint.
