Held talks with Spain Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on the sidelines of the 7th African Union-European Union Summit, Luanda, Angola. We explored ways to expand our diplomatic ties, with a strong focus on trade and investment. We are keen on leveraging this partnership to support Spanish companies already active in Kenya and to encourage more to take up the opportunities in infrastructure expansion, water and irrigation, and energy generation. This is in line with the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda, which is opening new prospects for our people.(William Samoei Ruto, PhD)
