Been trying out the Base app these past few days and found a more accurate way to identify Base app users. The previous method of identifying based on Coinbase Smart Wallet had too much error… The identification logic is actually pretty simple. When users connect their Farcaster account and create a smart account, they receive a BetaAccess NFT. This is a non-transferable SBT, representing the identity of a Base app beta user. Currently, over 123,000 addresses hold BetaAccess, which essentially represents the entire Base app user base. Could this potentially become one of the criteria for a BASE airdrop in the future? Last week, over 23,000 new users registered for the Base app, setting a new weekly high. And yesterday, after Jesse Pollak announced the launch of his own JESSE creator token on Base app – Zora Coins, there were 3.2k+ new user registrations in a single day. Also did some stats on Base app user activity. As a super app that integrates trading, social, and entertainment exploration, the most interacted contracts over the past 7 days include USDC, the cross-chain trading component Relay Link, NFT marketplace OpenSea Seaport, Authena for airdrop claim verification, OKX DEX Router, and more.
