Foresight News reports that Canton Wallet, developed by the wallet application Send, announced via Twitter that the CC drip mechanism will gradually shut down and fully stop on December 25. Specifically, the official plan is to reduce it by approximately 50% before December 3, 75% before December 10, 87.5% before December 17, and completely stop it on December 25.
Additionally, Canton Wallet will launch products including: Treasury (secure multi-signature asset storage), Staking (supporting CC and SEND tokens), Pool Party (the first AMM decentralized exchange on the Canton Network), and CUSD (a privacy-first stablecoin).
30% of application-layer rewards will be reserved for community distribution, with 17,166,000 CC community rewards currently in reserve. These rewards will be allocated to staking programs and future integration projects of Canton Wallet.
Foresight News notes that CC drip is a temporary reward mechanism within the Canton Network ecosystem, designed to attract user participation through small, continuous CC token rewards and strengthen the ecosystem's early development.
