Last night, I was up late writing, and suddenly Twitter stopped loading, and even my music wouldn’t play. I thought my home internet was down, but turns out—it was a certain centralized infrastructure that crashed, dragging down half the internet with it. That moment really hit me: centralization isn’t about efficiency, it’s a massive single point of failure.
Now looking at what @cysic_xyz is doing, it makes total sense:
Instead of piling all the computing power onto one cloud provider, they’re using ComputeFi to break it apart and distribute it across the entire network—like a power grid. Everyone can provide computing power, and everyone can use it. If one node fails, no problem, there are thousands of other nodes to back it up.
Stop relying on a single pillar to build your fortress.
From “betting on one cloud provider” to “betting on a distributed computing network,” this shift is where the next real alpha opportunity lies.
