Stop right there, take a good look—did you guys really take a good look or not?! In a downtrend, don’t rely on so-called trend lines. When the trend is one-sided, all trend lines are just there to be broken. The market will move in the direction that’s easier, and right now, dropping is easier than rising. Big drops with small rebounds have been the main theme for the past two months. Don’t rush to catch the bottom. Swing trading is fine, but don’t get greedy—take your profits and leave. This is something I’ve emphasized over and over again. The drop isn’t done yet. At this point, the risk-reward ratio for both long and short positions isn’t great.
