Actually... in the crypto world, you don’t necessarily have to trade coins. I remember my first two years in crypto, I basically didn’t use exchanges at all... really didn’t check coin prices. I was working intensely in the crypto space every day... but Bitcoin went up three or four times my cost before I even realized it. I had forgotten about 200 ETH on OKX, and years later, I only remembered it when I was claiming a red envelope. I’ve told this story several times already... Back then, the vibe around discussing coin prices seemed weaker than it is now... because there weren’t so many trading-focused KOLs talking about ups and downs every day. In the office, there was only one developer guy who kept an eye on the market, but no one dared to say much to him. I really started trading coins between 2021 and 2023. There was a period when trading coins was ridiculously easy to make money—everyone was making money, even fools. That’s when I started using exchanges... So Binance’s old rule of not allowing employees to trade coins was actually correct in a certain time and space context. So don’t feel bad about doing things like yield farming or research and analysis. That’s actually the norm in the crypto world. My philosophy is: when even fools are making money, that’s when we jump in to make big money. Otherwise, don’t bother playing. Right now, this market clearly has nothing to do with fools. If you can’t resist trading, go check out Dragon King’s Twitter. After reading it, you won’t want to buy any coins at all.
