Just stumbled upon @saylor bro's comment from May 9, 2021, when dogecoin hit its all-time high. His take on DOGE: The half-life of monetary energy stored in weak fiat currencies is about 2 years. In strong fiat currencies, the half-life is about 5 years. Dogecoin's half-life is about 25 years. Bitcoin's half-life is eternal.
By the way, what does he mean by 'half-life'?
In this bull market, can we still experience the joy of dogecoin going 10x in a day? Back then, the bull market was insane—retail investors could at least get a taste of the action in the secondary market.
Speaking of which, it's been 4 and a half years since dogecoin's peak in May 2021. Among the top 10 tokens by market cap, it seems like dogecoin is the only one that hasn't returned to its previous high.
