It’s Government Shutdown Day 40. Senate is back in this afternoon for a rare Sunday session at 1:30pm. Senate GOP plans to meet at 12:30pm behind closed doors to discuss other options to end the gov’t. Senate may hold a test vote on a bill if ready with full-year spending for USDA (including SNAP), Military Construction-VA & Congress (including Capitol Police), while fully funding the gov’t to the end of Jan. so it can reopen. 60 votes will be needed including getting support from Democrats to advance it. @cspan 2(Craig Caplan)
