Saw @cysic_xyz post a picture with Morse code, and at first, I thought it was another kind of 'puzzle game.' Turns out, after translating it, it says—
'OWN THE COMPUTE.'
These four words are pretty interesting.
In the past, we’ve always been saying 'Own your data' and 'Own your identity,' but now they’re directly saying 'Own your compute'—
Meaning: computing power itself is the new asset.
I took a closer look at their 'ComputeFi' framework, and it’s pretty hardcore.
Making computing power flow like money, stake like tokens, and earn yields like LPs.
Their logic feels like they’re rebuilding an 'on-chain AWS':
- At the base layer, they use a heterogeneous architecture of ASIC + GPU, where the fastest wins, maximizing efficiency;
- In the middle, there’s a Proof-of-Compute mechanism to ensure every bit of computing power is 'real work,' not just data farming;
- The virtual machine part is directly compatible with EVM, meaning smart contracts can directly call computing resources;
The top layer is the real highlight—a unified 'compute marketplace,' where anyone with idle GPUs can list them for rent, and demand-side settles directly on-chain.
Sounds a bit like 'DeFi for computing power,' right?
Others stake tokens for interest; they stake computing power for yields.
Others trade assets; they trade computation.
Plus, they’ve developed a custom ZK accelerator that speeds up verification and saves computing power. Basically, whether you’re a mining rig player, AI developer, or even an ordinary user, you can join this 'compute yield farming' game.
Suddenly, I feel like this is just like when everyone was scrambling to mine gold, and now Cysic comes out and says: 'Bro, I’m not mining gold, I’m selling mining rigs.'
And then a bunch of people turn around and realize—
—'Mining rigs' are actually the most stable business.
So that Morse code isn’t just a slogan; it’s a declaration.
Having computing power, computing power is value.
