Experience Gate Swap liquidity pool 1. Introduction to liquidity pool function The core of Gate Swap lies in the liquidity pool jointly built by users. Each token trading pair (such as GT/USDT) needs sufficient liquidity to achieve reasonable prices and low slippage trading. Anyone can become a liquidity provider (LP). LP token When you provide liquidity for trading pairs such as GT/GUSD, you will receive LP tokens representing your share in the pool. You can redeem your funds at any time by removing liquidity. Earn transaction fees When you add liquidity to Gate Swap, you will receive a proportionate commission reward based on your share in the liquidity pool for the transaction pair. All transaction fees are 100% allocated to liquidity providers, and the platform does not charge any additional fees. Impermanent loss When you add liquidity to trading pairs such as GT/USDT, the value of the assets you hold is automatically redistributed based on price fluctuations. When there is a significant fluctuation in the price of a trading pair, the total value of the assets you ultimately withdraw may be slightly lower than the value of holding the currency alone, and this difference is called "impermanent loss". Add/Remove Liquidity In Gate Swap, liquidity is the foundation for efficient operation of decentralized transactions. How to create a liquidity pool Gate Swap now supports users to independently create liquidity pools, further enhancing the participation experience. The creation steps are as follows: 1. Visit the liquidity page Go to the liquidity page and click [Create Liquidity] to enter the creation interface. 2. Choose a token pair Select the A+B tokens you wish to create and add initial liquidity to the trading pair. 3. Set initial price If the coin pair is created for the first time, the system will prompt you to set the initial price, which can be manually entered or selected as [Use Market Price] as the initial price reference. 4. Input amount and balance verification Fill in the amount of token A in the input box, and the system will automatically calculate the quantity of token B based on the current exchange rate. If the balance of any token is insufficient, the button will display [Insufficient Balance]. Please adjust the amount or supplement the balance before continuing the operation. 5. Authorization operation When the balance of the two tokens is sufficient, you need to click [Authorize] one by one to complete the authorization of the two tokens. Each authorization requires confirmation of the operation in the wallet. 6. Confirm creation After authorization is completed, the button will change to [Confirm]. After clicking, the system will pop up a confirmation pop-up window. Please verify the currency pair and amount information, and complete the signature in the wallet. 7. View holdings After confirming the transaction, you can go to the [My Positions] page to view the details of the created pairs, LP token balance, and current liquidity position. 3. How to add/remove liquidity Add liquidity You can add liquidity to trading pairs through the following path: -[Chart Details Page]>[Liquidity Pool]>[Add Liquidity] -Or [Swap Page]>[Liquidity Pool]>[Add/Create Liquidity] After completing the addition, you can view the corresponding liquidity positions and returns in [My Positions]. Remove liquidity You can remove liquidity for trading pairs through the following path: 1. Go to [My Positions], select the target token pair, and enter the details page. 2. Click [Remove Liquidity], and the system will pop up a removal operation window. 3. Use shortcut settings or manually enter the proportion you want to remove (partial or complete removal is supported). The system will automatically calculate the number of tokens that can be obtained. After clicking [Confirm], complete the signature in the wallet to confirm the operation. After completing the on chain transaction, you will receive two types of tokens corresponding to the transaction pair. If only a portion is removed, the remaining liquidity value will be updated in real-time on the [Liquidity] page. You can view the actual transaction fee rewards received and the final settlement amount in the wallet history.
