We're about a month out from the 6 month ask for Bitcoin Core contributors to prioritize review & integration of CTV (BIP-119) + CSFS (BIP-348) and things seem to be mostly where it was when the letter was published. The list of signatories (63) represented the broadest bitcoin technical mindshare I have seen in any soft fork effort since Taproot: https://ctv-csfs.com/ While there's many things going on, the friction and social exhaustion caused by the filter debate over the same time period certainly played a role in why this particular effort doesn't appear to have moved the needle much. I do believe one of the ways to extricate ourselves from the social paralysis of filters is to focus on productive ways forward. I believe forward movement on CTV + CSFS would help us move past filters.(cbspears ◉)
