Sei @SeiNetwork is now on Robinhood. OG fans probably know I’ve been involved with Sei quite a bit. Their on-chain ecosystem hasn’t really produced any degen-style projects, but it seems like this is a strategic choice—either go all-in on compliance or go all-in on ecosystem development. Specifically, they’ve taken some major compliance steps. For example, BlackRock, Apollo, and Circle have all collaborated with Sei. Last year, Sei was even on Grayscale’s candidate asset list. Overall, they haven’t focused much on ecosystem development, but they’ve gone all out on compliance, which is also a valid approach. Sei co-founder Jay was one of the early engineers at Robinhood, so Sei has always positioned itself as a chain for on-chain finance. It’s pretty consistent with that vision. The market’s been rough lately, so maybe check out if there’s anything worth farming on their chain.
