On Halloween 2025 & Day 31 of the federal government shutdown, the House announced today during its pro forma session that Nov. 3-9 will now be a district work period for members, meaning no votes will be held for a SEVENTH consecutive week. Last votes were held Sept. 19th. House GOP leaders are awaiting Senate approval of the short-term funding bill to reopen the gov't & will give members 48 hours to return to DC if votes are scheduled.(Craig Caplan)
