I knew this day would come,
but I didn’t expect it to come so soon.
Humanoid robots are moving from the lab to commercial use,
and they’ll be ready for shipment in the U.S. by 2026.
Did a quick look into it—
the company was founded in Norway back in 2014.
It was originally called Halodi Robotics.
They worked on it for 8 years, and you can imagine, it wasn’t easy.
But in 2022, GPT-3.5 was released,
and large models took center stage in history.
The company also rebranded to 1x Tech in 2022,
and now they’re blowing up across the internet.
Thanks to large models,
though if you’re expecting humanoid robots to do household chores,
that’s probably still a bit of a stretch.
But when it comes to **companionship**,
they really deliver.
Without large models,
these robots would probably just sit around collecting dust at home.
But with large models,
at least they can chat and hold conversations.
That’s the magic touch large models bring.
Nothing more to say—
keep adding to chip ETFs.
Human demand for computing power just keeps growing and growing and growing.
