[AC Questions the Funding Allocation of Ethereum Foundation, Claims No Support During Development on Ethereum] BlockBeats News, October 21, Sonic Labs founder Andre Cronje wrote, 'I am confused. Who exactly is the Ethereum Foundation (EF) funding or supporting? When I was developing on Ethereum, I burned over 700 ETH just on deployment and infrastructure. I tried reaching out to EF but never received any response—no business connections, no grants, no support of any kind, not even a retweet. Later, when I started participating in the Sonic ecosystem, I was truly puzzled because most teams there had BD support, funding, TVL guidance, audits, and ongoing marketing promotion. I had assumed EF operated in a similar way. But if they are neither supporting core developers (like Peter and the geth team) nor fostering the most active Layer 2 ecosystems (like Sandeep and Polygon), then where exactly is their money going?'
