True story: When I first got into the space, Binance Coin (BNB) was around 240. Back then, I didn’t have many followers, and a big brother from Shanghai tipped me 1 BNB. He said he bought it when it was just $1. At the time, he mentioned something about leaving it on Cake or somewhere to farm, but I didn’t really understand what ‘farming’ meant back then. Later, this big brother emigrated to Japan. He occasionally tells me he doesn’t like researching projects—he’s fine with just letting CZ and He Yi work for him. Turns out, this is what a ‘lie-flat’ Binance life looks like.
For privacy reasons, I won’t @ him. That BNB he gave me? I haven’t sold it—it’s been used for transaction fees and eventually got completely consumed in trades .
Looking back, my total investment portfolio hasn’t outperformed the 240-1200 BNB range. And if you add in new token launches, I’ve fallen even further behind.
Over all these years, the only place I’ve managed to outperform BNB is in A-shares and U.S. stocks this year, where even with my eyes closed, I’ve made money.
