This action is part of a civil confiscation case involving approximately $2 million in digital assets by the US Department of Justice. Tether has stated that it has frozen over $2.9 billion in USDT, collaborated with 275 law enforcement agencies covering 59 jurisdictions, and pledged to continue supporting global law enforcement agencies in combating illegal activities.
