BlockBeats reported on July 22nd that Consensys, a software company founded by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Rubin, is currently planning to lay off 49 employees, accounting for approximately 7% of its total workforce.
The company spokesperson stated that this restructuring is aimed at promoting overall profitability improvement. Consensys recently acquired a startup company with approximately 30 employees, who will continue to stay with the company. Meanwhile, the company still plans to continue recruiting for other positions. The largest office location of Consensys is in Brooklyn.
