Latest Ethereum ACDE Conference: Decision to Remove EIP 7907 from Fusaka Upgrade

The minutes of the 216th Ethereum Executive Core Developers Conference (ACDE) summarized by Christine Kim show that developers have decided to remove EIP 7907 from the Fusaka upgrade today, which means that there will be no changes to Ethereum's smart contract code size limit in the foreseeable future. A version of this EIP may be reintroduced for the Glamsterdam hard fork, but it cannot be guaranteed to be included in the next hard fork. In addition, Tim Beiko shared a possible timeline for the launch of Fusaka on the mainnet at the meeting. The proposed schedule is as follows: 1. Client public testing network release: week of August 25th; 2. First public test network upgrade: September 22nd to October 3rd; 3. Second test network upgrade: October 6-10.; In addition, the developers plan to launch Fusaka Devnet-3 on July 23rd.
The developers have generally reached a consensus on the planned implementation of the Glamsterdam hard fork. However, they are still discussing several key issues regarding how to implement the fork that includes a "proposer builder separation solidification mechanism" and a "block level access list". After further soliciting opinions from the broader Ethereum community, developers plan to make a final decision on the core code changes in the Glamsterdam upgrade within the next two to four weeks.
