Odaily Planet Daily News: According to the Financial Times, two officials familiar with the negotiations have stated that if trade talks with the United States break down, the European Union is preparing a potential tariff list and export control measures against the US services industry as one of the possible retaliatory measures. The European Commission is drafting this list of measures in response to Trump's tariff policies, which still needs to be submitted to EU countries. In addition, EU countries have been discussing a retaliatory proposal against the US's annual imports of 72 billion euros worth of goods (including tariffs on Boeing planes, cars, and bourbon whiskey), and the newly drafted list will be further supplemented on this basis.
