House GOP released its 2026 Transportation-HUD spending bill with 2.3B increase in FAA funding, 4 days after Senate confirmed Bryan Bedford, Trump's nominee to lead the FAA. THUD bill, which cuts DOT budget 3.1B overall, also provides FAA with resources to hire 2,500 new air traffic controllers & replace FAA’s aged telecom infrastructure.
