NATO Secretary General Rutte will meet with US President Trump in Washington next week

According to Golden Finance, NATO announced in a press release that NATO Secretary General Rutte will visit Washington D.C. on Monday, July 14th and Tuesday, July 15th, where he will meet with US President Trump, US Secretary of State Rubio, and Defense Secretary Hagibis. The press release did not immediately explain the reason for Rutte's visit to the United States, but Trump recently stated that the United States is willing to provide weapons to Ukraine through NATO, and he will make a "major statement" on Monday. So far, the Trump administration has only shipped weapons authorized by former President Biden to Ukraine, who is a staunch supporter of Kiev. (Golden Ten)
