Ukraine sanctions 60 Russian crypto companies, accusing them of assisting in evading sanctions

According to the Ukrainian Pravda newspaper on July 6th, Ukrainian President Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions on individuals and legal entities who assist Russia in transferring assets through cryptocurrency. This sanction involves 60 companies, of which 55 are registered enterprises in the Russian Federation. 19 sanctioned entities are large cryptocurrency miners, 17 are operators of digital financial asset information systems, 19 are components of Russia's financial infrastructure, and 5 are operators of cryptocurrency exchanges involved in evading sanctions. In addition, Ukraine has imposed sanctions on 73 individuals, including managers and owners of sanctioned companies, as well as officials from the Russian Central Bank.
