According to the Wall Street Journal, on Wednesday night local time, Republican leaders in the US House of Representatives suffered a setback on Trump's tax and spending bill, with the party's slim majority once again creating a last-minute dramatic event on Capitol Hill. Four Republican lawmakers: Keith Self, Victoria Spatz, Andrew Clyde, and Brian Fitzpatrick, voted against the procedural "rules" vote along with Democrats, at least for now preventing the Republican Party from entering the final stage of passage. The procedural voting lasted until late at night, lasting over 7 hours, reportedly the longest voting time in the history of the House of Representatives. (Golden Ten)
