According to Foresight News, according to Wall Street Watch, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell commented at a meeting hosted by the European Central Bank in Portugal that for the upcoming July FOMC meeting at the end of this month, Powell stated that the future economic outlook will determine policy direction. We will not exclude any meeting, nor will we explicitly put it on the agenda. In addition, Powell stated that the Federal Reserve suspended interest rate cuts when it saw the scale of tariffs and almost all inflation forecasts for the United States rising significantly due to tariffs. Powell also said, "We are just observing for the time being. As long as the US economy remains stable, we believe the cautious approach is to wait, obtain more information, and observe what these impacts may be.
