Dear @bitgetglobal Your article on Bitcoin mining in Iran is generally pretty good. Equally, it is clear that when you venture into the area of commenting on Bitcoin and environmental impact, you do not know what you are talking about. Bitcoin mining is 52.4% sustainable energy powered, and has been found in 22 academic studies and 7 independent reports to have strong environmental benefits. As for its energy-usage placing demands on grids, this simplistic presentation lacks understanding of how flexible energy systems interact with grids. Again, the research tells us the opposite: Bitcoin's flexible demand means that it helps stabilize grids, allowing them to handle a higher % of renewable energy. If you're going to venture into this area in future, please consult with people who understand the domain of Bitcoin and energy.
