Odaily Planet Daily News: Renowned financial advisor Ric Edelman recently stated on CNBC's "Crypto World" program that the allocation ratio of cryptocurrencies in investment portfolios can be as high as 40%, which is in sharp contrast to the 1% allocation he suggested in his 2021 book "The Truth About Cryptocurrency". As the head of the Digital Asset Finance Professionals Committee, Edelman explained that four years ago, the market was uncertain whether the government would ban Bitcoin, whether the technology would fail, or whether institutions would adopt it, but "now all these issues have been resolved and cryptocurrency has become a mainstream asset. Edelman stated that the price trend of Bitcoin is not correlated with traditional assets, making it a powerful investment portfolio diversification tool that can increase risk adjusted returns. He believes that the cryptocurrency asset class provides "higher return opportunities that are difficult to obtain for almost any other asset class," and stated that the market's forecast for Bitcoin to reach $150000 to $250000 by the end of the year is "relatively conservative. It is reported that Ric Edelman is one of the founders of Edelman Financial Engines, which manages assets worth over $290 billion. (CNBC)
