According to four insiders, the Trump government is preparing a series of administrative measures aimed at providing impetus for the expansion of American artificial intelligence. Sources have revealed that measures being considered include making it easier for power generation projects to connect to the grid and providing federal land for the construction of data centers needed to expand artificial intelligence technology. According to Grid Strategies, a consulting firm in the power industry, the demand for electricity in the United States is expected to grow at five times the rate predicted in 2022 between 2024 and 2029. According to a report by consulting firm Deloitte, the electricity demand for artificial intelligence data centers may increase by more than 30 times by 2035. According to informed sources, the government is considering placing mature power generation projects at the forefront of the grid connection queue. The executive order will also authorize the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of the Interior to manage land for project construction. The government is also considering simplifying the licensing of data centers by establishing a nationwide Clean Water Act license, rather than requiring companies to apply for licenses on a state by state basis. In addition, the White House is considering designating July 23rd as "Artificial Intelligence Action Day".
