The White House says the July 9th trade deadline may be extended
White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt stated that the trade deadline of July 9th is flexible and may be extended.
President Trump may impose reciprocal tariffs on countries that fail to reach an agreement by the deadline, but may also unilaterally impose conditions.
At present, only an agreement has been reached with the UK and a ceasefire has been reached with China, while other negotiations are still ongoing.
