JPMorgan executives meet with SEC to discuss capital market blockchain process

BlockBeats News: On June 18th, according to Cointelegraph, executives from JPMorgan Chase recently met with the US Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) Cryptocurrency Task Force to discuss the far-reaching impact of digital asset regulation and capital market blockchain.
According to an SEC statement released on Tuesday, JPMorgan executives had a discussion with the SEC on the potential impact of migrating existing capital market activities to public blockchain, including the parts of the traditional model that may undergo changes and how companies can assess the risks and benefits of these changes.
Both parties also discussed JPMorgan's current business layout in the cryptocurrency field, including the bank's existing digital platform, which is currently used to process repurchase agreements (a short-term financial market lending tool) and is part of its "digital financing" and "digital debt services" product system.
