According to BlockBeats, on June 16th, advisors to the Trump family's encryption project WLFI announced that WLFI has officially connected its stablecoin USD1 to the Bitcoin Thunderbolt network initiated by Nubit. USD1 is currently the only stablecoin running on the Bitcoin network (Tether has previously suspended the omni version of USDT), and this collaboration has opened up a fast usage channel for stablecoins on the Bitcoin main network. Users can directly transfer and receive USD1 on the Bitcoin mainnet, or use it to pay for node purchases on the Thunderbolt network. The deep cooperation between WLFI and Nubit will significantly expand the application scenarios of Bitcoin in stablecoins and payment networks. USD1 deployed on the Bitcoin Thunderbolt network is expected to account for over 90% of the circulation. Previously, on April 15th, HSBC officially announced that the Bitcoin Lightning Network has introduced UTXO Bundling and OP-CAT instructions through a mainnet soft fork, supporting on chain native asset issuance, transaction acceleration, and intelligent verification. The tested network efficiency has increased by 1000-2000 times compared to the original chain. The network was jointly proposed by early Bitcoin miners, core developers, and the Nubit team.
