Odaily Planet Daily News: US prosecutors have filed a motion to prevent expert witnesses of Tornado Cash founder Roman Storm from appearing in court, stating that it would "waste jury time" and "confuse" jurors' understanding of privacy, token economics, and KYC. The case has changed, and the Department of Justice has withdrawn the charge of 'unlicensed remittance' but retained the money laundering charge, and stopped referring to Tornado Cash as a 'financial institution'. Storm warning: 'If I lose, DeFi will also go with me.'. The Ethereum Foundation has provided $500000 for Storm's defense and will match $750000 in community donations, emphasizing that 'privacy is normal and coding is not a crime'. The case will be heard in less than 30 days. (Protos )
